TheCypherNine People always seem to forget about it, but I think there should be a provision like that in every NS constitution. If we have a snap election a month before the scheduled ones, it makes no sense to have two elections in a row.
At the moment the election takes place from 16th September until early October. Z-Day takes place at the end of October and if we have a FK who is relatively new to the game, like Palos last year, they are kinda thrown in at the deep end, having to rely on other people who are more experienced to rally the troops. If we would need to create a second election date anyway for the second 6 month term we could also look at the beginning of the original one. Trouble is, bringing it forward brings us into conflict with N-Day and the inflated puppet aftermath of that, and pushing to after Z-Day takes us all the way to November. Something to consider though.

Now that you mention it... without changing any dates, a second 6-month election would take place from March through to early April-- right over the April Fools event. Even if we could stand the Z-Day timing, it is definitely not a good idea to have elections going on over the April Fools Day event.
