Mount Seymour I very much agree with what you're aiming to achieve here, but I think it takes more than negative measures regarding what not to post. We want high quality content . Spam and a high post count both make that hard to achieve, but we also need people to post the good stuff and support others who are doing so. I thought some of the content in recent days was encouraging, especially the discussion on ethical perceptions of light and darkness. I'm aware that I've been pretty quiet lately, but what helps most is demonstrating what we want to see rather than just suppressing what we don't.
As an aside I can see you suppressing occasional posts on the regions activity feed but I haven't scrolled through and identified which ones they were. I'm sure it's fine though, and if you're happy to do so then please carry on based on the criterion you've set out here.
Mozworld The particular issue there was taking the piss out of someone's religious beliefs and hopefully that's a reasonably common sense ruling to make and one we'd all agree on. That's not the same as disagreeing with those beliefs or advancing arguments that are incompatible with them, but again I'd imagine we're pretty clear on the difference.
But yes, overall I has asked people to have a look at establishing a guideline and I still think it would be a good idea.
