It seems to me that killing someone off now with nothing to go on would be unwise, but I'm a noob so what do I know?

How many votes do we need to kill someone? Is it just "whoever has the most votes dies"? Do we need a majority? Do we need to explicitly abstain if we want to do that? What format should we use for votes?
On some other sites there tend to be phases of jokey votes early on the first day (like "vote Zwangzug for being at the end of the alphabet," not so they stay put, but just something to get people talking and see how they react).
Does anybody's tone sound good to anyone? Sometimes finding people you trust can be almost as useful as finding people you are suspicious of.
