While going through the photos on my old iPod Touch I discovered two photos I had taken of Old Baldy Hill in Montmorency County. The hill is well known to the native and long time residents of the county. The hill is named "Old Baldy"in reference to how the top of the hill is devoid of trees and sandy. To get to the hill, you have to traverse through the hills and backwoods of the county across unmarked dirt roads. Although slightly rough the scenery is breath taking. There route is full of dense forests (some allegedly haunted) and small creeks which snake across the terrain, But getting to the top is difficult, the climb is very steep and to be honest by the time I got to the top I was out of breath and coughing like a mad man. The view however, made it all worth it.
