This is a team exercise that builds on trust, creativity, and sheer chaos. Your objective is to collaborate with each other to create a story. But there’s a catch: you can only post one sentence at a time. Da rules:
1) Post only one sentence, preferably nothing too long, although you may get a little creative with your structure. I recommend no longer than 42 words.
2) Try to make your sentence at least remotely make sense in the context of the sentence before it. If the last sentence veers off too radically from the one before it, you’re welcome to try to tie it in with whatever was going on before it but don’t feel obliged to.
3) On the other hand, do not worry about plot consistency. You’re welcome to read the whole thing and take notes, but you may also base your reply off of just the last couple of posts. (In fact I encourage that.) The story does not have to be about an egg salad sandwich.
With introductions out of the way, lets begin:
You wake up one morning to realize your egg sandwich was stolen, undoubtedly by the notoriously thiefy Otter King.
