We recommend uploading your photos directly to the image-hosting site Imgur and then pasting the link(s) here inside [img][/img] tags. You can also use your own preferred image host. However, direct files cannot be uploaded, and Google Drive links are harder to work with.

One of the strangest phenomena I have observed, this is not the sun but the moon at around 1AM. It turned an intense red/orange color and changed the sky around it while the stars were still out. After it set it was astrophotography time !

Just after the sun went down, a flaming red moon appeared out the window, rising rapidly over the distant lights of the city. This huge red ball dwarfed everything else on the horizon for a few passing minutes, before its color faded and it took to the skies in its normal, subtler hues.

It took numerous attempts to get the shot, as the angle required it be taken through the mesh of a closely-woven window screen. It may not be crisp, but I’m pleased with the result. Oct. 11, 2022.

And one more from Wisconsin. The sun rises on the Kenosha County Courthouse as my Android Phone struggles to get it all in one shot. I shot this last year in November. I need to start carrying my DSLR with me again.
