Photo Contest 2022 Hype, woo-hoo! Valentine Z (Victoriaans Nederlands in Forest) is back again with his pictures! So this is my opening post, and this time, I DO have quite a handful of tree photos to share.
Let’s get started! ♥
Newer shots are from Nikon D850, Tamron 18-200 mm; my old camera kicked half the bucket - it’s not dead, but it needs a repair before it can get back to action. While not Photoshopped, they have their lighting and other attributes adjusted in Lightroom, while some are HDRs (3-4 photos combined into one single shot).
It’ll be a mix of old and new.

A Small World - One of the better shots with my new camera, where I went to Botanical Gardens in Singapore and decided to take some close-ups. I am often good with macro more than landscape as I realised. Sadly, no ants or small insects on the tree to include in the shot. It DOES look like a small little fruit with some snow on it. Nikon D850 @ Tamron 18-200: ISO 4000, f/6.3, 1/80 sec, 200 mm

Fire Away! - Imagine the plant as a cannon, and the flower as an explosion, and it’s shooting projectiles. Pretty adorable! <3 Nikon D850 @ Tamron 18-200: ISO 2000, f/8.0, 1/125 sec, 200 mm

Through the Christmas Ornament - It’s as if you are looking at yourself in other bubbles / universes. Very surreal! Nikon D850 @ Tamron 18-200: ISO 800, f/8.0, 1/30 sec, 18 mm
