All in Canberra, Australia once again. The first is over Lake Burley Griffin looking towards the Great Dividing Ranges, the second and third are on my uni campus, and the last is at Davidson Hill in the Red Hill Nature Reserve. Hope these all match with the light and dark theme!

6/12 - Long Shutter of Singapore City. Tripod, IR Remote, 40+ second shutter speed. It’s all set for this photo as the boat with lights below slowly chugs in the waters.

7/12 - The Fountain, Jewel @ Changi Airport. With cameos from strangers against the fountain, it provides the much needed contrast between the Light, and the Dark.

8/12 - Light the Way, Lady Liberty! Taken tonight at Jurong Lake Garden’s Lantern Festival, this appropriately done Statue of Liberty glows at night just like the rest of the decoration, lighting the way and piercing the dark night.

9/12 - The Dragon Lights! Again at the Lantern Festival. This ferocious and colorful dragon brings prosperity and light to the world.

10/12 - The Floating Lanterns. How is this possible? Magic? Drones? Nah, they are on strings. Just hidden!

Light & Dark: Mid-afternoon in the courtyard of Saybrook College, a Gothic-style residence hall at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Light & Dark: Yale’s famed Harkness Tower is a landmark on campus. I spotted it catching the last few rays as sunset approached, against a perfectly clear blue sky.

Light & Dark: Rainfall and nighttime, coupled with an eerily-deserted field, makes for an enigmatic scene.

Light & Dark: As I was at a Halloween party in a disused suite, I took a break from the festivities and looked out the window to catch this nighttime view.
